Olde Naples (also written as Old Naples) is not only one of the most desirable real estate locations in Southwest Florida, but in the world. People from all over come to Olde Naples for vacation, to relocate, or to buy their second or third home in paradise. The Olde Naples area is located between the Gulf of Mexico and US-41 (Tamiami Trail), North of 14th Avenue South, and as far north as South Golf Drive. You can click on the image (left) to expand. There are many reasons that make this destination stand out from other locales that I would like to share. So you can see for yourself why this area is so fascinating and highly sought after.
Olde Naples is the original "Hot Spot" of Naples: Known for its fine dining, shopping, arts and theatre, white sandy beaches, boating and fishing, parks, and eventful nightlife.
Beaches
There are 24 public beach access points in Olde Naples. Every Avenue (east-west) will take you right to the beach. You can easily walk to the beach from your Olde Naples home, but bike racks and vehicle parking are available at the end of all these avenues. (And in the neighborhoods to the north, Coquina Sands, Moorings, Park Shore, Pelican Bay, and Vanderbilt Beach, as well as the neighborhoods to the south Aqualane Shores and Port Royal, there are other beach access points, most notably as beach parks.)
The most popular landmark on the beach is the Naples Pier located at the end of 12th Avenue south. Originally built in 1888, the Naples Pier is a great fishing and tourist location, having public restrooms and even a concession stand half way out. The beaches and pier are a great place to enjoy the sun during the day and to watch our amazing sunsets at night. And a great place to watch fireworks on the 4th of July!
Dining
Olde Naples is home to both 5th Avenue South and Third Street South. Both strips are known for their cafes, ice cream and coffee shops, and their fine dining. All within walking distance of an Olde Naples residence. Here are just a few without being biased; Aqua, BICE Naples Ristorante, Bistro 821, Bonefish Grill, Cafe Luna, Campiellos, Chops City Grill, Citrus, Dock at Crayton Cove, Fifth Ave. Coffee Company, Handsome Harry's, Mangrove Cafe, McCabe's Irish Pub, Paddy Murphy's, Pazzo Italian Cafe, Riverwalk, Sea Salt, Sushi-Thai Too, Tommy Bahama's, Trulucks, and Yabba Island Grill. And the list can go on and on... Definitely a great place to be if you enjoy treating yourself or family to great food and a great time out.
